    For our visitors, we do not use cookies and we do not collect any personal data. Payment information is stored off-site using our payment connector, Stripe. If you submit a contact form, we ask for the bare minimum and only use that data to communicate with you. We use the contact info you provide for initial contact, internal marketing on our products, and service-related communication. 


    At Casa Taveras, we are committed to complying with GDPR, CCPA, PECR and other privacy regulations on our website. The privacy of your data is a big deal to us.

  • What's collected from our site visitors?

    We do not track people across their devices and across websites and apps that they visit. All the data is isolated to a single day, single website and single device only. You can find the exact data type collected here.

  • Where is data stored from site visits?

    All of the data that we do track is made possible by Plausible.io. It is kept fully secured, encrypted and hosted on 100% renewable energy powered server in Falkenstein, Germany. The server is owned by Hetzner, a European company. This ensures that all of the website data is being covered by the European Union’s strict laws on data privacy.

  • Who owns the collected website data?

    All data collected is owned 100% by Casa Taveras. Our Analytics Partner obtains no rights from us to our website data. 

    • We will never sell or share our site data to any third-parties.
    • Our website data is not shared with advertising companies or any other companies in general.
    • Our website data is not sent to any third-parties at all.
    • Our website data is not mined and harvested for personal and behavioral trends.
    • Our website data is not monetized.

  • Why don't you have a privacy banner?

    As a service to you the website visitor,  we aren't required to have a complex privacy policy or GDPR, CCPA or PECR prompts discussing analytics or cookies. Thanks to GDPR-compliant software like Plausible we are not tracking any personal data and you can enjoy our site without any annoyances or distractions.

What's collected on our site visitors

Operating System Windows 10 We use this to show what operating systems people use when visiting our website. We show the brand of the operating system and the version number.
Device Type Desktop We use this to show what devices people use when visiting our website. Devices are categorized into desktop, mobile or tablet.
Country, Region, City US, Fort Myers, FL We look up the visitor’s location using their IP address. We do not track anything more granular than the city level and the IP address of the visitor is discarded. We never store IP addresses in our database or logs.

Personal Data Removal Policy

Since we do not store personal data from site visitors, data removal requests aren't necessary. However, if you are a former customer or site visitor please contact us at casataveras@upwardhouse.com and we can gladly provide an audit link to our website analytics.
